As a Finance Apprentice your responsibilities may include:
Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all the finance function
Process purchase orders and match them to purchase invoices
Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details
Deal with supplier queries
Process staff business expense claims
Maintain confidentiality at all times in respect of school-related matters and to prevent disclosure of confidential and sensitive information
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 37 hrs pw Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm
Salary : £185.00 Per Week

Skills Required : Proficient in high volumes of data entry
Experience of dealing with a wide range of internal and external customers
Good IT skills and confident in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
Fast and accurate keyboard skills
Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone and in person
Future Prospects : To gain level 3 and continue to develop and progress.

Training to be Provided : CG LEVEL 2 FUNCTIONAL SKILLS QUALIFICATION IN ENGLISH
AAT LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN ACCOUNTING (QCF)
CG LEVEL 2 FUNCTIONAL SKILLS QUALIFICATION IN MATHEMATICS
Other Information : Candidates must attend an initial interview with a member of the Bedford College Apprenticeship Recruitment Team if they meet the initial criteria as part of the recruitment process.
All applicants must be happy to be DBS checked and complete Safeguarding training.
Things to consider : Do not like computers? Then this role is not for you as it involves a high volume of computer work in a busy school environment.
