We are currently offering the following 12 month apprenticeships in our Finance Department:1 x Level 2 Accountancy Apprentices working in the Accounts Payable team Duties will include:
Assisting with processing all suppliers invoices accurately using various accounting systems
Assisting with general telephone enquiries
Providing support for Accounts payable assistants
Liaising with both internal and external customers to ensure all supplier invoices are received and processed for payment
Dealing with enquiries from suppliers regarding invoice and payment queries.
There will also be the opportunity to gain a Level 2 AAT qualification. In addition to learning through your work, you can expect to be given regular study time, monthly meetings with a learning assessor and 1:1 meetings with your mentor/line manager to help you develop your skills? In addition, there may be an opportunity to progress to Level 3 at a later stage but this cannot be guaranteed. Functional Skills in English and maths
Other Information : Candidates must attend an initial interview with a member of the Bedford College Apprenticeship Recruitment Team if they meet the initial criteria as part of the recruitment process.
Things to consider : The candidate will need to have there own transport to be able to get to our office and to Bedford college. There is long periods of working on a computer which includes the necessary breaks
