Vacancy Full Description : Woburn Golf Club are seeking two Apprentice Chefs to work for them at their Little Brickhill site based in Milton Keynes. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Apprentice Chef to join our highly motivated and experienced Catering Team.
Reporting to the Head Chef and working in a busy kitchen you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and service of food production whilst working alongside a team of highly experienced skilled chefs. Opportunities will be given for you to work across all sections of the kitchen and develop further skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a real enthusiasm and passion for cooking looking to start a career in the industry. Ideally you will have previous basic kitchen knowledge and experience with a willingness to learn. Strong customer service and communication skills are required along with the ability to work in a team and under pressure.
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 40 hrs pw wk. Working shifts over 5 days.
Salary : £187.00 Per Week

Personal Qualities : This position will suit someone with enthusiasm, a passion for cooking, good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure when required.
Skills Required : Good basic English and Maths and along with some kitchen experience ideally.

Training to be Provided : You will be working towards your NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Professional Cookery and Level 2 Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles (Professional) as well as Employment Rights and Responsibilities, Functional skills in English and Maths.
