Vacancy Full Description : This is a new, exciting opportunity to complete a Customer Service apprenticeship within a 5 * hospitality environment within our Reception and Concierge team.
The Front of House Apprentice will play an important part in the Reception/Concierge function, dealing with all arrivals and departures. You shall be required to assist them with their luggage and ensure that they are made comfortable during their stay. You will be on hand to answer any guest queries and provide guests with information such as local restaurants, local tourism and transport needs from a train to a chauffer-driven car. This is a very customer focused position and will require you to think on your feet. This role will involve cash handling and credit card transactions as well as taking reservations and answering the switchboard. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain hands-on front of house experience whilst working towards your qualification.

Luton Hoo have provided a mini bus service which will collect and drop off from the town centre and the train station, both in the morning and afternoon/evenings.
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 40 hrs pw. 5 days a week, 2 days off, Varied shifts.
Salary : £163.00 Per Week

Future Prospects : The applicant has a variety of career paths at their disposal. The ideal next step for a Front of House apprentice would be a position within our Reservations, Concierge or Reception team.

Other Information : A driving licence is desirable, but not essential as Luton Hoo have provided a mini bus service which will collect and drop off from the town centre and the train station, both in the morning and afternoon/evenings.
Candidates must attend an initial interview with a member of the Bedford College Apprenticeship Recruitment Team and complete an online Maths and English test which will be sent out prior to your initial interview if you meet the entry criteria. Please note this is part of the recruitment process and must be completed in order for your application to be progressed to the next stage.
Things to consider : 5 working days, 2 days off, varied shifts, 40 hrs
The role includes shift work. The earliest start to a shift will be 7am, the latest end of a shift is 11pm.
