Vacancy Full Description : This is an exciting role working for an Educational mobile team travelling out across the South East on a daily basis, you will also work with a diverse range of livestock on our farm from cattle, donkeys to sheep, goats, pigs and poultry/waterfowl.
You will work within a team delivering Ark Farm visits to customers and also work onsite at our farm based in Thurleigh, alternating between both on a rota basis. The Farm Apprentice helps to ensure that all aspects of the visit from setup, customer experience, pack away and clean up are completed successfully as directed by the Team Leader.
1) Help to deliver Ark Farm visits professionally and on-brand
2) Understand and follow Company policies, procedures and work practices
3) Complete apprenticeship placements in identifying, undertaking and helping complete modules and tasks
4) Develop positive working relationships with all staff and customers
5) Learn and demonstrate an understanding of livestock welfare
Our work is seasonal and so during the Summer months (March to September), we are extremely busy and so you will be required to work approximately 36 hours per week, whereas during the Winter months, hours are approximately 24 hours per week and are more flexible with start and finish times etc. Additional overtime will be offered on occasions, particularly during the Summer months.
This role could lead onto a level 3 apprenticeship specialising in Teaching or Livestock Management

Working Week : 30hrs pw 12:30pm-7:30pm Mar - Aug 6hr days in Sept
Salary : £120.00 Per Week
