Qualifications Required : A*-D / 3-9 GCSE Maths and English or a Level 1 equivalent
No experience needed as training will be provided.
Vacancy Full Description : Apprentice Grounds Maintenance Operative. You will work with a senior member of staff, carrying out clients site maintenance, including litter picking, grass cutting, hedge cutting.

We are looking for someone who has a love of working outside and who would like to work in horticulture and doesn't mind varied work, such as grass cutting, shrubs, hedge cutting, helping with tree works, rubbish collection etc.

To carry out such other duties as reasonably correspond to the general character of the post and are commensurate with its level of responsibility. To ensure that all work carries out is in accordance with the requirement of the Health & Safety at Work Act.
One day a week off site training will be provided.
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 40hrs pw Mon-Fri 7:30am v- 4:45pm
Salary : £160.00 Per Week

Training to be Provided : You will gain the following qualifications:
Work-Based Horticulture City & Guilds/NPTC Level 2 Diploma
Other Information : Candidates must attend an initial interview with a member of the Bedford College Apprenticeship Recruitment Team and complete an online Maths and English test which will be sent out prior to your initial interview if you meet the entry criteria. Please note this is part of the recruitment process and must be completed in order for your application to be progressed to the next stage.
Things to consider : You will be expected to work in all weathers.
You will need to have a driving license or able to get to our village location.
