Qualifications Required : You will need a minimum of two GCSEs at grades A*-D, including English and maths. An ability to achieve a Level 1 ICT qualification is desirable.
Vacancy Full Description : The applicant will be working with a small friendly team of nursery nurses who will support the new team member to settle quickly into our small setting. You will be working directly with the children, assisting other staff members in tasks.
Our Deputy who is level 5 qualified will support the student in college assignments.
Because we are a friendly team we are looking for a confident person to join our nursery able to communicate well with children, staff and parents. The successful candidate will spend time to get to know the staff,children and parents first by having time in three rooms. They will assist qualified staff to learn daily routines for both the nursery and children. Friday will be day release to Bedford College. After a period of settling time our new team member will be responsible for assisting with the running of the room, preparing snack, helping with lunch routines and setting up age appropriate activities for children in all three rooms. There, will some cleaning, sweeping, hoovering and cleaning up after messy activities but we all take turns with the jobs.

Working Week : 40hrs pw Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm
Salary : £180.00 Per Week

Other Information : If the candidate does not have Grade c or above in Maths, English and ICT they will need to complete their functional skills alongside level 2 N.V.Q with the college.
