Qualifications Required : You will need a minimum of five GCSEs at grades A*-C (9-4) including English and maths.

If so then you may be interested in this developmental role within Finance at Lockheed Martin (UK) Ampthill. You will have the opportunity to progress in the apprenticeship up to Level 5 and gain an AAT qualification.

This varied Finance Apprenticeship role will cover at least the following:•Data analysis and interrogation
•Variance analysis
•Journal/Accrual creation and entry
•Month End processing
•Reporting
•Invoice processing
•General Admin Tasks
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 37.5hrs pw Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
Salary : £240.38 Per Week

Personal Qualities : •Good eye for detail.
•Keen interest in finance or accounting.
•Be able to work as a team
•Be self motivated and work towards deadlines and targets
Skills Required : •Capable with Excel, including writing basic formulas and creating simple graphs/charts.
•Aptitude for learning and willingness to take on new tasks.
•An A-Level or equivalent qualification including Maths or Statistics.
•Experience creating PowerPoint Presentations.
Future Prospects : To continue to progress with the company. Gaining more experience, a better understanding and continue to work towards more qualifications.
Training to be Provided : During this apprenticeship you will study a range of topics, including:
•Advanced bookkeeping
•Final Accounts Preparation
•Management Accounting Costing
•Indirect Tax
•Ethics for Accountants
•Spreadsheets for Accounting
•Advanced synoptic assessment

You will gain the following qualifications:

Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship
AAT qualification if all exams are taken

Other Information : Candidates must attend an initial interview with a member of the Bedford College Apprenticeship Recruitment Team and complete an online Maths and English test which will be sent out prior to your initial interview if you meet the entry criteria.
