Vacancy Short Description : As our apprentice purchasing administrator, you will be involved in the day to day admin supporting the purchasing team.
Qualifications Required : You will need a minimum of four GCSEs A*-C/9-4 including English or maths.
Vacancy Full Description : As our apprentice purchasing administrator, you will be involved in the day to day admin supporting the purchasing team.
The apprentice purchasing administrator will involved in:
- Relationship building with suppliers
- Stock takes - Produce monthly stocks and internal accounts for submission to head of department.
- Stock replenishment
- General help in stores
- Complete daily administrative tasks accurately to maintain purchasing records.
- Use of the telephone system to direct calls
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 40 hrs p/w Mon-Fri 8.00am-4.30pm
Salary : £148.00 Per Week

Skills Required : Good to advance level in excel and work would be advantageous.
Future Prospects : We would like our apprentices to join the business at the end of there apprenticeship.
Training to be Provided : You will gain the following qualifications:
Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship
•Functional Skills in English and Maths
•Functional Skills in ICT
During this apprenticeship you will study a range of topics, including:
•Record and document production
•Planning and organisation
•Processes and external environment factors.
Other Information : Candidates must attend an initial interview with a member of the Bedford College Apprenticeship Recruitment Team and complete an online maths and English test which will be sent out prior to your initial interview if you meet the entry criteria. Please note this is part of the recruitment process and must be completed in order for your application to be progressed to the next stage.
Things to consider : Some of the work will be working in our stores depot, which is situated in our warehouse. This means there will be times when the candidate will be required to work in cooler temperatures.
